What's up with WhatsApp

Do you fancy Blackberry where the users could text other Blackberry users around the world by simply entering the contact's Blackberry PIN? Blackberry use Blackberry Messenger to do that.

Do not own Blackberry device? No worries. WhatsApp is here!

Similiar to Blackberry Messenger technology, WhatsApp uses push system to delivered messages. What the best part here is, the app is available cross-platform! - now iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian & also Android can message each other.

Blackberry Messenger uses PIN system to identify users and the phone, however WhatsApp uses phone number as an ID! Means that, even you do not know your friend's device ID, you just need their contact phone number to get connected to each other. How cool is that!

Download now and use! iPhone and Blackberry version are available via AppStore & AppWorld. The Symbian & Android version are still in beta version, only available at the developer's website.

Not only text, audio, picture, video, and even you can share your location!

GO!

There is also another similiar app called Cnectd. But its kinda crap. :P
Here is the link anyway.

Gate to Hades.

Today is the 3rd day of raya.

and the number of traffic accidents really shocked me. -

There was a point in my life, where had taught me something.

that something may not be really important to everyone, but its important for those who are really care of others.

It happened few years ago, where a friend of mine told me a very shocking news.
His only little brother, were killed in car accident.

From the speech of him, i found out that, his father were keep on calling his little brother to get home as soon as possible. His father were pushing him.

Then I realized, it was the key to the accident; pushing other people.

You know, pushing other people it can be a positive thing, especially when getting jobs done.
But for me, pushing people while they are driving is so not right.
Just imagine you had a father who were fierce in person, keep on calling you to get back as soon as possible because it was after dawn already. Then you start to accelerate faster, spurn the traffic signal and drive dangerously. It will cost your life if bad things happen!

So moral of the story is, do not push someone when they are driving. Bad things may happen. Who knows. Perhaps you will feel bad about it for the rest of your life.

Thanks for reading :)

Always be my baby

You know baby, I miss you alot, like really alot.

It has been more than a week you left me here.
I really hope you will be here by Raya.
Because after Raya over, I need you desperately.

Hello reader,
I am not talking about a person, but rather a thing.
She is my baby, Asus EeePC 1005P netbook, which left me for service center after she had a failed hard disk drive.
I have been lonely with her. She always been my side, like always, almost everywhere I go. To the class, to the library, to the restaurant, even when I am shopping for something and even when I go to the toilet. (Nah just kidding)

Something about me is, computer is a part of my life. I have been using it nearly decade ago. So you know, its kind of hard for me to have my routine without it.

So to make things easy for me, I have been using my phone to do things which I could do with my netbook. I surf the web with my phone, I facebook on it, and even chatting via facebook chat and yahoo messenger using my phone. I use Snaptu and Nimbuzz.

Yes, without my phone, I would gone half crazy by now.

I am still waiting for my netbook to be fixed and send to me.. haishh I am just tired of waiting.
Anyway, I am using my brand new baby here while waiting for the Asus to be affixed.
This new baby name is Toshiba NB305. It is a great netbook. High built quality, solid components and very very attractive. But funny thing is, its kind of sluggish comparing to the Asus. Eventhough the specification is almost the same.
Perhaps, Windows 7 does sucks at netbook. You are right Alief. It does.

Anyway, I am thinking to completely remove windows 7 from my Asus later on, and move on other alternative OS. Ubuntu is my choice. Do you have any better suggestion for me dear reader? You are welcome to suggest me anything. :)

I am on holiday, but with LOTS LOTS and LOTS of works.
Not a leisure holiday, rather I would called it, UNFORGIVING holiday.
